Harvey Nichols
From the ground floor which is filled with cosmetics, accessories, designer handbags and the fab champagne nail bar, work your way up through several floors of cool designer labels and the latest cutting edge fashion. At the top is the Forth Floor Bar and Restaurant where you can relax, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy their acclaimed food and drink, as well as panoramic views of Edinburgh.
Multrees Walk
Venture through the side door of Harvey Nichols and find yourself in another designer paradise, with everything from Mulberry, Louis Vuitton and Emporio Armani to G-Star, Replay and Reiss………. After all that shopping, a drink might be in order at Valvona & Crollas Vin Caffé. A lovely Italian wine bar with an outdoor seating area for those lucky enough to visit when the sun is shining.
Jenners
This department store has proudly stood on this corner site on Princes Street for over 100 years. Recently taken over by House of Fraser, there is floor after floor of designer clothes, accessories, cosmetics, lingerie, shoes, jewellery, handbags and luggage. There is a café, food hall, florist and hairdresser. If you are lucky enough to be in Edinburgh during the festive period, Jenner’s’ towering Christmas tree is an unmissable attraction.
George Street
Formerly the financial district of Edinburgh, George Street is now home to a selection of trendy bars, clubs and restaurants as well as some of the most beautiful boutique hotels. As if that wasn’t enough, it also has the city’s most exclusive designer stores including......... Jo Malone, Space NK, Karen Millen, Coast, Cruise, Hugo Boss, LK Bennett, Whistles, Jigsaw to name but a few.
Princes Street
A mile of shops run along one side of this famous street including all the high-street favourites: Gap, H&M, River Island, New Look, Next, M&S ……. If that leaves you worn out, just cross to the other side of Edinburgh’s main thoroughfare, where princes Street Gardens rest in the shadow of the castle.
